BYU vs. Oregon St. in LV Bowl

This year’s MAACO Bowl Las Vegas will feature one of the best matchups in the history of the 18-year bowl game.

Two ranked teams will face off Dec. 22 at Sam Boyd Stadium, as No. 15 BYU (10-2) will take on No. 16 Oregon State (8-4).

"We can't wait to host two exciting, ranked teams in front of what we hope will be another sold-out crowd on December 22nd," said Tina Kunzer-Murphy, MAACO Bowl Las Vegas executive director, in a statement.

The Cougars will be playing their bowl game in Las Vegas for the fifth straight year. They fell to Arizona, 31-21, in last season’s game after winning the bowl in both 2006 and 2007.

The Beavers last played in Las Vegas’ bowl game in 2003, when they routed New Mexico, 55-14.
